His curse at the idea of letting their mother con him into one of her political matches was lost as he grunted from being tossed over his brother's shoulder. Their mother loved to mourn the fact none of her sons were married yet and she didn't need fuel from the fire.

And it wasn't his fault he got so caught up in his work to eat. "Clearly I just needed your confidence, brother."

The sudden shock of being thrown into the water stole the air from Alex's lungs but he quickly surfaced and shook his head out, dislodging the headdress and some of the ornaments braided into his curls. "Their forms are dolphin based. Think some sharks can outswim them?" He said as he shifted into his siren form, which was heavily based on a leopard shark. The white and black stripes were oddly comforting.
