OOC: Participation concerns
I admit, I'm having some concerns about my participation in this game.
I'm not sure if it's my schedule making my tagging slow or that I'm in a different time zone but I feel like I have yet to have very many significant threads. They seem to be dropped before they go anywhere. People seem to move on very quickly to the next thing and old threads are forgotten within a day or so, which makes it very difficult to create any plot or significant relationships. I have honest concerns on if I can keep up with a game like this and it's causing me some extreme anxiety. I really don't want to sound dramatic, but it starts to wear on someone when it seems like their threads are constantly being dropped or forgotten in the face of some of the epic thread lengths I've seen. And it seems to be not just me either. It makes it hard to really get involved for new people.
I honestly don't know what to do anymore. I am enjoying Alex and some parts of the game but my mental health is really starting to be affected by this and I'm having enough issues in that regard without a hobby adding to it. It's part of the reason I've had to take a hiatus from twitter and making me hesitant to tag new things.
I'm really open to figuring out what to do because I'd like to stay, but if it's my schedule, there isn't much I can do about that and I guess I'd like to know sooner rather then later.
