Facts about Alex

• Third Cabot son, from one of the eldest, richest families in Siren Cove the Cabot's are an old, political family with heavy ties to the Sirens.
• Father was a Senator and mother is on the committee to many charitable organizations
• He grew up in Siren Cove so he'll know any long time residents
• But he's been gone for about 6 years for post-grad schooling, only occasionally coming home for holidays or quick trips so newer people will need to introduce themselves
• He is not as prone to loosing his shirt as Will, but it happens
• He's charming to everyone, but quieter then his brother and he has never been one for long relationships, especially after he left for school.
• He can be found often times in the coffee shop when he's working on his research, preferring the noisy atmosphere to concentrate (And loves to be interrupted by people other then his parents)
• Will be living at the Cabot estate with in his parents home for now
• He is one of the powerful sirens in the family, with his powers making people want to talk to him. As a child, he used his powers unconsiously and made people talk to him all the time so he got the reputation for being quiet since he could never get a word in. This changed when it was realized it was his powers doing this and he got them under control, but the reputation stuck. He can sway people's opinions and ideas if he uses his powers while storytelling.
• He also loves to tell stories, any stores, true or completely myth, just for fun.
• He is studying siren culture (or to the outside world the origins of the siren/mermaid myth) from around the world so if your character is an international siren, I'd love to talk to you about whatever background culture you created.
• He has a research assistant named Cameron 'Cam' Bradley, who is  half-siren, and was traveling with him (appable if someone wanted). Cam is now back at home for his own vacation but Alex texts and e-mails him constantly when he's working
• His siren form is based on the black and white striped leopard shark from Florida, as it's known for being curious and non-agressive. All Cabot sirens have a shark based siren form.
• He has a tattooed band around his upper arm of stylistic waves, sea turtles and whale tails. It's the mark of the man betrothed to the future leader of the Sirena, a fate Will saved him from, thankfully.
