For a day that was supposed to be a celebration, there was tension everywhere. The mothers were hovering over everything and the couple seemed...out of it. So Alex was more then happy to leave in the family limo to pick up Wren. His mother had kept hinting about who Alex was bringing and he decided to keep it a surprise. After The Cove's reports, he had a feeling she already knew, but he wanted to keep it himself to a little bit longer.

After Wren's reaction to the blue suit at his concert, Alex had decided to wear blue again. He had a simple mask in his pocket that his mother would no doubt insist he wear once they arrived but for now, he felt a little silly.

Letting the limo wait outside, Alex moved to ring Wren's door bell and wait. He knew he was welcome inside but it just felt right at that moment.
